Welcome to Utah Valley Mahjong LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website utahvalleymahjong.com (the “Site”), purchasing products, registering for classes or events, or participating in any services offered by us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. Eligibility

There is no minimum age requirement to access the Site. Participation in events or purchases may require parental consent for minors.

3. Accounts

Users may browse the Site without creating an account. An account may be required to place orders, register for events, or access certain services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

4. Products & Services

We offer:

In-person classes
Online classes
Open play events
Tournaments
Physical products
Digital products
Rentals

Some services are date-based and scheduled for specific times and locations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any offering at any time.

5. Event Changes & Cancellations by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes or events in rare circumstances beyond our control. If this occurs, customers will be notified as promptly as possible. At our discretion, refunds, credits, or rescheduling options may be offered.

6. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe and Venmo. By purchasing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.

Sales tax is collected on taxable items in accordance with Utah law. In-person classes are not currently subject to sales tax.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund policies vary by offering and are detailed in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Assumption of Risk

Participation in classes, events, tournaments, and open play is at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage incurred while participating.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, lost items, or misunderstandings of rules or gameplay.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable product or service.
We are not responsible for third-party actions or services.

10. Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully. Harassment, disruption, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove any individual from an event without refund for violations of conduct expectations.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to:

Class materials
Playbooks
Digital downloads
Logos and branding

are the exclusive property of Utah Valley Mahjong LLC.
Recording, copying, redistributing, reselling, scraping, or sharing content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

12. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Violate laws or regulations
Infringe intellectual property
Interfere with Site security or functionality
Record or redistribute proprietary materials

13. Arbitration & Governing Law

Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not court litigation. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of changes.
