Book a Private Class

Anyone looking to learn Mahjong with friends, family, or co-workers. Perfect for beginners or experienced players! We will work with you to customize the learning level to the needs of your group.

• Tablecloths, tiles, racks, mats, and all the supplies - we'll set it all up before your guests arrive

• Small student-to-teacher ratio for personalized coaching

• A high-quality quickstart guide for each participant, plus a few fun extras

• Exclusive student discounts on premium Mahjong sets

• Access to our Mahjong set rentals — available only to students

• Group Size: You can invite 4, 8, or 12 players (Mahjong is best learned and played in multiples of 4). If you have a group larger than 12, contact us for large group options.)

• Cost: $420 for the full party. The best value is to book a 12-person class, as you'll pay less per person.

• Length: 2 hours of instruction + play. Plus you can keep playing all evening after we leave if you like!

• Location: Your home, office, or other venue.

• You Provide: 

  • Party space

  • Tables and chairs (during the booking process, we will discuss options)

  • Optional snacks for your guests. Keep them simple and easy to eat around valuable Mahjong sets. Finger foods are perfect!

• We Provide: Everything else!

Our team of instructors is ready to teach and facilitate the following classes for your private event:

Mahjong 101 - for absolute beginners or those who haven't played in a long time

Mahjong 102 - for those who have taken 101 or have some experience and are ready to start going deeper with defensive play, joker strategy, Charleston strategy, and more.

Open Play - If your group already knows the game at any level, and wants an excuse to get together to play. We will provide guided open play and facilitate several games during your event. Throughout the night, we will mix up the tables to help you get facetime with ALL your friends, as well as offer personalized coaching and tips for the whole group. We can play with points and prizes or keep it more casual. Your party, your vibe!

Private events are in high demand, and your booking reserves that date exclusively for you.
Of your total booking fee, $150 is nonrefundable.

We understand that plans can change. If you cancel more than 72 hours before your event, we will gladly refund your payment minus the $150 nonrefundable portion.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event, or missed events, are nonrefundable.
